I am a watercolor artist interested in historic architecture.  I love capturing light and shadow in watercolor to help define the structures.  Watercolor is so challenging and so expressive; I will never tire of it.  This painting is from a trip to Greece and depicts a Byzantine monastery that is probably the most peaceful spot I've ever visited in my life.
